We have our very own Facebook page which you can use to see the dates and times of our upcoming functions. We also have a huge events noticeboard in the club which displays all of our upcoming events. You can also ask our lovely bar staff for more information. Please note some events are strictly members only.
Once a month we have our regular Friday night bingo with our very own bingo caller Playful 'Paddington' Pete, a.k.a. Pete Snell. It's often one of our busiest evenings so please arrive early to ensure a seat. Before the main bingo starts we also urge you to try out Stand-Up bingo!
Our regular quizzes vary between a standard multi-round quiz to our very popular music quiz. Please look out for our next event on our Facebook page or our upcoming events are on the main club notice board next to the pool table.
Each Friday we have the amazing Seafoods traditional fish & chip van visit us just after 6pm until around 7:45pm. Serving a delicious take-away menu you are very welcome to have a pint while you wait for your order to be freshly cooked, or alternatively eat your food inside the club.

In previous years we have been proud to host a number of high profile events for our resident 'Dragons' football club, including the annual Alderholt FC Christmas Dinner (with a little help from our friends at The Churchill Arms). The football club has been a mainstay supporter of the club for many years, and although we sadly no longer have any adult football teams, we do have a number of fantastic youth teams which we are proud to sponsor.

We host a number of darts and pool tournaments throughout the year supported by our darts and pool teams Without doubt, our loyal darts and pool teams are a mainstay for the club throughout the long winter months, when weekday trading is typically down with less customer footfall through our doors. We typically move onto winter opening hours during October, with reduced trading hours and weekday closures on Tuesday & Wednesday.
One of our most popular recent BBQ's actually took place during heavy snow in winter 2018, when the village was effectively snowed in and the only place to get to was the club. There's not much Pete can't conjure up on a BBQ, and whilst we don't offer a food service, I'm sure he'd be happy to rustle you up his signature scallops with chorizo and black pudding at our next BBQ.
Being situated on the village recreation ground, we have what must be one of the best beer gardens around. To help ensure our customers are kept warm and dry throughout the year, we have invested in a new large marquee which means half of our beer garden is now under cover for the winter.
We love bank holidays and like to put on some family fun, especially for the little ones. We have our very own adult bouncy castle which is also available for hire for private events. One of our most popular entertainers is Retro Ryan, a former holiday camp entertainer who is a club regular at events, entertaining the children by day and a slightly more adult routine in the evening!
Our annual August Bank Holiday beer, cider and music festival allows us to showcase all the club has to offer. We serve ciders, beers and real ales from around the world in our outside beer tent, along with family fun events each day, followed by live music in the evenings.
Each year the club hosts a battlefield themed trip for members. So far we've visited:

In 2022 members of the committee took part in a 1500 mile 'veterans bangers rally' from Alderholt to Gibraltar raising almost £3000 for Military versus Cancer and SSAFA. In 2024 we took on an even bigger challenge, a rally covering 9 countries in 9 days over 2000 miles. Four teams from the club took part raising over £5k for the Stars Appeal at Salisbury Hospital.
Each October we transform the club into an Oktoberfest themed German beer hall serving imported traditional Oktoberfest biers such as Erdinger Weissbier, Spaten Helles lager, and HofBrau, accompanied by authentic German foods with our imported giant Bratwurst and Kasewurst cheesy sausages always a big sell out.
